The Karate
for Life Foundation is a registered not-for-profit corporation whose
aim is to promote life skills development and battle HIV/AIDS in Uganda
and beyond through the mental and physical training inherent in the
practice of the martial arts.

Yearly
Goal
|
Our goal for 2011-12 is to
help Felex Forward rebuild his family home, as it was recently slated
for demolition by the local government due to its
“unsightliness.” Felex is a primary school teacher in Uganda and
a certified anti-HIV/AIDS life skills educator with over six years of
karate training experience. He has also worked tirelessly to
spread the joint karate/life skills curriculum to his local community,
a goal that Karate for Life was founded to promote. Let’s all
work together to help Felex regain the basic security that a home
provides, as good works cannot be pursued until basic needs are met.
